VW Transporter T5/T6 Comfort Rear Air Suspension Kit

The standard rear coil springs on the VW Transporter are always a compromise. A spring stiff enough to support a heavily loaded van can give a firm ride when empty, while softer springs can leave the rear sitting low when carrying a substantial load.

This full rear air suspension kit replaces the standard coil springs with adjustable air springs, allowing the spring rate and ride height to be adjusted to suit the load. Increase the pressure when heavily loaded to bring the vehicle back to its normal ride height, or reduce the pressure when empty for a more compliant ride.

Unlike our lowering-focused air suspension kits, this system is designed primarily for comfort, load levelling and commercial or leisure use, making it particularly suitable for camper conversions, work vans and vehicles carrying varying or permanent loads.

The standard kit uses simple manual inflation, allowing the pressure to be adjusted using a tyre inflator or workshop air supply. For greater convenience, an onboard compressor and control system can also be added.
